Does he sound intelligent?

Listening to Trump I have come to a few conclusions. No, this has NOTHING to do with his policies, just the way he sounds...which is really ignorant. Find a few interviews and listen to him, half of the time he doesn't answer the question, he babbles, and then goes off on a random tangent. Google it "Trump going off on a tangent." This is not a one time thing. Maybe he just isn't good at public speaking or something, I don't know, but it hurts my head to listen to it! What do you think?

@Marty1 He has proved himself to be incompetent. I get sorry for Sean Spicer trying to cover up for him.

He is not stupid. He knows how to manipulate a crowd and targets a part of the population liking his simplistic/disruptive talk, his conspiracy theories and his true of faked lack of culture. This said he is learning his job the hard way : everything he attempts to do turns to a failure, and he looks completely incompetent. The worst is that he is incapable to admit his errors and to move on. He has to evolve if he wants to last more than a few months.

@Daljinder When a horse is harassed by flies and mosquitoes around its eyes, it may become dangerous for the rider by moving its head. The way to solve it is to put blinders to the horse. A Trump harassed by fake news and protests has also decided to wear blinders to follow his way.

@topffer "........... if he wants to last more than a few months." His habit of skirting away from really answering the question asked bothers me. He never answers. Just remains in repeat mode.

He should be smart to have reached so high. He sounds and looks ignorant to me as well but he managed to become the President of the United States, he must be talented. He also found what voters wanted to hear and made it the center of his campaign. How do you explain it otherwise?

He didn't get the votes of the people. it was the electoral votes that voted him in. We should do away with them entirely.

@RubyHawk Without the people's votes he wouldn't be the new President. He managed to become extremely popular somehow. Maybe he has chosen a very capable team around him that created everything around his public image. Unfortunately we can never know what happens behind the scenes.

You hit the nail on the head. I dislike him for what he is as a person. The way he talks, behaves. his thinking etc... His policies came way later. Nobody can sound more intelligent that Trump does. No body can prove that better than Trump himself. Nobody has the best vocabulary than Trump. Nobody! *put it on repeat*
