Good evening.the company left and back to normal(sighs)
Mike took me out to lunch as he know that I was in the mood for Chinese.
As you can see in the photo that he took me by surprise to take a photo.LOL
I look so serious which is not me.The food as always was great.Nice to get out and enjoy ourselves.Tonight another treat.Pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries.Do not want to hear about how fattening that it is.
I do not give a damnedMy life,my choice,
This is a rarity for me.Mike does not like to do pancake.
We had a good afternoon.Company stop by for a drink etc.
Yes,it is cold but when you have someone near by to love you.
That is all it counts.Damn I love being married.
Have a good afternoon.Be kind to each other.

I just LOVE pancakes! And then I donĀ“t care about resistance to insuline. Maybe the way is to take then 2 pills instead of one.

I like the beef noodles and beef/pork siomai with chili sauce at Chowking. I love to eat at LukFoo and Flavours of China and other Chinese restaurants too.

I love the scarf you have on.
What's on your plate (besides that delicious looking egg roll)? I'm trying to identify the food and am not succeeding. I do miss East Coast Chinese food. It's the kind I grew up eating, and it's somehow different from what we have out here on the West Coast. I guess settlers from different parts of China probably opened restaurants.

@amadeo Over here, low mein and chow mein are considered the same thing (a stir fried dish with long noodles) in restaurants, but I remember chow mein being something different growing up. On the East Coast, chow mein had crunchy noodles and lo mein had the long noodles, like spaghetti noodles.
