what would you do if the person that you respect is looking at your flaws only

we all have flaws, but it hurts when you find that a person you respect and they see only your flaws or better said they concentrate on them

I tend to hear from one ear and out the other when that person begins their repetitive criticism. Because honestly I don;t want to hear it and feel bad and neither do I want to hurt them by saying something.

that is so good, tried to make it a habit but could not how do you do it, i know people i mean some do it easily, but i can not though i reallly trying hard to do it since it give you peace of mind
