What to do when we feel very down or depressed in life

We all feel down at certain moments of life. It is normal to every person. Life is a journey where we need both good and bad things, happiness and sadness, failure and success. If we get the one then we will know the importance of other. So don't be too much stressed because problems are actually temporary as many people say. Well if you cannot handle the situation then cool down and think positive. Other method of making your mood well is listening to music. It helps to repair damaged brain cells. Hope this helps you all

In the time like this, try to talk with someone. I usually do mylotting. It helps me a lot to tone down depression.

Talking to people is usually the best option i guess. But the person must be trustworthy

@prinzcy I got to speak to Daniel Levitin, the psychologist who wrote This is Your Brain on Music. He said that the best thing to do is to listen to music that MATCHES your mood, as that will validate your mood and make you feel less "alone" (if you're feeling lonely or sad).

But sometimes just by listening to music, it doesn't help much. I prefer talking with my mom or someone whom I trust.

Like what u said, life is a journey where we need both good and bad things, happiness and sadness, failure and success.We may embrace the bad things happended in our life. Sometimes we just can't struggled with it easily.Sonetimes it is rather hard.But, things will pass no matter how hard it is.

i think people has different ways to handle it some are to pray, some listen to music, others play computer games but i think it is important that during such a time try to do something u like most.
