I received this box of dark chocolate from a friend who visited Yogyakarta in Central Java, Indonesia. The city is known for representing traditional Javanese culture. It is also the home of Candi Borobudur, the world's largest Buddhist temple.
This souvenir chocolate is made by a renowned chocolate company called Monggo. A Belgian man and his two Indonesian friends started the company in the early 2000s and became the first Chocolatier of Yogyakarta. They specialized in unique Indonesian chocolates. An example of their product is this Stupa Box. It’s probably just some normal dark chocolate but I love the unique shape. Each dark chocolate is shaped as Stupa of Borobudur. So uniquely-shaped, they almost made me feel guilty of eating them…

I guess I can see how you get that visual from the chocolates...
Are you familiar with a stupa? It's a mound-like or dome-shaped structure usually found at a Buddhist shrine or temple. The chocolates are supposed to represent the world famous Borobudur - a structure closely associated with Yogyakarta much as Paris with its Eiffel Tower...

@ridingbet It may not be on that list anymore, I'm not sure... But it's still the largest Buddhist temple in the world...

@sishy7 i know Borobudur. we learned that in World History as one of the ancient 7 wonders of the world, along with the great pyramids of Egypt, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the great wall of China, and the Banawe rice terraces to name a few.

This is a very nice souvenir I know you feel guilty to eat them. But you can eat them in a holy way. Such as you go to have the bath at first and then change new clean clothes. You hold the chocolate like treasure and then bit them little by little
