We were told for two days that we would have severe storms, hail, high winds and the possibility of tornadoes for last night. Thank you, thank you Mother Nature - the warnings were not accurate.
We had the wind, we had the heavy rain but no severe weather by the time it hit our area. It was loud at time from the winds, but now all is quite.
So March really is going out like a lamb I was worried for a while!
Hope everyone is enjoying this last day of the first quarter of the year.

nothing to enjoy here Abby.We have a winter storm watch with heavy snow this afternoon through out the night.
Right now we are having the tree ready to bet cut down.March was a lousy month for me and the weather.Glad to hear all the bad weather was not too serious.

I think the northern states got it much worse than the south. Yesterday was the four month anniversary of the last tornado to his in the next county...so that was on every mind I'm sure.

She sent that bad stormy weather our way I think!
I rained most of the day here yesterday, we also had a brief bit of sleet and snow for about 30 seconds in the morning. But last night, the thunder, lightening, winds and rain were awful. And it was like that until a few hours ago, so here she's going out like an angry lion with an attitude!
Enjoy your last day of March and the nice weather, ours will come eventually.

The storms you had were part of the front that came thru here, but it sounds like you guys got the brunt of it - sorry. Hope the rest of the day calms down for you.

@AbbyGreenhill I fear that people only off during the weekends will have to stay at home. The elbow I broke many years ago hurts and this is not a good sign.

Happy that your weather wasn't what was predicted and that you got through without any problems. We had heavy downpours, thunder and lightening here overnight and now it's just a dismal rainy day. Can't wait to say adios to March.
