It is a problem in our country for the children to carry book loads in their bagpack every morning to school. And so CBSE board is trying to make it a rule for compulsory locker in school, which will cut off the heavy bags from talking it in school.
How about this rule in your country? Is it effective?

Trolly Bags in school? That's good, though we don't have that practice over here in our country, but must say that the practice is good, the load need not be carried on back. And if this locker part is made then it will be really good for the children

@subhajitsil6 Actually, the trolly bags are personal belongings of the students. It is like a luggage.

I was used to carrying a big bag back in school, too. While lockers might be helpful... I just don't know. Because usually, we'd need to use or look through our books when doing homework. If we always left our books in school, how would we do that?
Maybe it's different in other countries. I think in some places, there is normally a free period where students will be able to do their homeworks while at school. We didn't have any such free period. So the only time and place we'd be able to do our homeworks is after school at home. So even if we were given lockers, we'd hardly use them because we need to bring our books home.

Students at my school have lockers, but not so many books. Our state legislature has decided students don't need to take textbooks home, and will only afford 1 book for each desk. In a middle school, that means as many as 4 students will use the same book throughout the day, and no one will be able to take it home lest it get lost and then 4 students would be without rather than 1.

I thought all schools had lockers for kids. That is horrible that they have to walk with that heavy load and do not have a place to store it at school and have to bring it back and forth.
