A Flood Tool place recently in Australia. after a powerful cyclone went by the country's Eastern side. Many rivers have flooded already and still rising. I was wondering if someone can enlighten me, what's the status over there now. Is everything under control ? May God's Grace be with them.

In 2011 the central part of Australia received so much water that the level of the ocean actually went down for several months (by a few millimeters) until the water evaporated. It would be nice if that happened for a longer period of time. :P

@subhajitsil6 Certainly. I've been through two 100-year floods, so I know how devastating they are. Fortunately I lived up on a hill and was out of danger, but I saw an entire house float down the river and impact the bridge (which was also under water) and just shred apart. The bridge is so high over the water I never would have imagined that the water could get that high. It rose over 42 feet (12.8 meters).

That is really a mess and something no one wants to deal with. Hope everything dries out quickly so they can begin to do what they need to do there.
