The blossom is out in force over the past few weeks. It started with an early display of the beautiful magnolia trees quickly followed by Daffodils, primroses, hyacinths, snow drops and now the tulips are in bloom. Spring has definitely sprung.
I know it is the height of the blossom season in Washington which I witness at this time last year for Easter. The apple, pear and cherry trees are in full bloom.
The photo I took this evening whilst I was waiting for the bus. Its an ornamental cherry tree. They are all opposite the hospital where I work. As long as the frost does not come I think we are in for a bounty harvest this year as the fruit trees are covered in blossom.
How are things for you in your locality?

@garymarsh6 Mangoes, star apple, sour sop -- our apple tree blew down in 2012 when hurricane Sandy paid us a visit. We also have banana trees, coconut trees and avocado trees.

We don't have the trees down here like you do. People do plant flowers.

Very Pretty! we haven't progressed much past the crocus stage here.. I am still waiting for the Tulips and Daffodils.
we have a crab apple tree that flowers in the spring. but that hasn't happened yet either. In fact I was just looking at my Lilac bush and it only just has leaves barely past the bud stage.. so I thin a while before I see the pretty purple flowers.
So Crocus it is for now I guess!

Such is the beauty of spring. In my country we are in autumn so there are not many flowers. For us, the full beauty is in October.

Great to see this picture and know that you have a great spring time. We have almost full summer time, and except for rains cooling things a bit on Tuesday night, it has been start of a harsh and grueling summer season ahead.

Perhaps you are too far north yet for the spring. Here in the UK it is about two weeks behind if you are up north

How beautiful! I could sit and look at that tree for hours! I bet the bees love it, too! It's still too cold for anything to begin blossoming here, but I'm sure it's going to happen soon!
