" It's a bad day but not a bad life"
I am not certain where that saying is applicable. For some unexpected bearable circumstances, maybe.
If you know your puspose whatever in your front you will overcome it. It's not easy though. You must be bearing hardship. Remember the history has its own story.
Learn from people we are now studying.

@ms1864 I don't believe in karma, but it would be a good explanation.

Yes it always happens and even I question myself about this. Some say it is the Karma, and some say it is our weakness. Everyone has a different views and perspectives. What ever it is the more you suffer, you become more stronger in life.

I don't know if good people actually suffer more than bad. I think everyone suffers.
But why do good people suffer?
* 1 John 5:19 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 19 "We are certain that we come from God and that the rest of the world is under the power of the devil." /// Since the Devil is now ruling the world, what can we expect? Do we really think that he's going to make our life easy?
* John 17:14 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 14 "I have told them your message. But the people of this world hate them, because they don’t belong to this world, just as I don’t." /// The world itself makes it hard for Jesus' disciples. Look what the world did to Jesus, would they make things easier for us?

It seems to be so, but I think it is more that everyone feels this way. It rains on the just a few the unjust, the Bible says.

Totally agree. I know plenty of good people who get the bad end of everything. No idea why it happens. But it shouldnt

yes. You are 100% right. By experience, I came to know the more you trust, belief, and keep faith on others the more you will be cheated and betrayed. So, I have decided to hate such people and do not allow anybody inside my house if I smell any slightest mischief.

Because most time we have a good heart and care too much about everybody and everything as I result we end of getting hurt more often.

Seems to be a rule. And they are suffering as they do not think about themselves.

I often wondered that too. I have a book called: When Bad things happen to good People. I heard that G-d gives us what He feels we can deal with and when it is more than enough He takes it away. That is a question that I have thought about a lot. There are Jews that suffered so much and lost so much during the Holocaust that they blamed it on G-d and stopped believing in Him. Others have said that it was the evil people that did that to the Jews. I guess I do not really have an answer because not sure what I believe yet about that. That is a very good question to ask.
