Too Hot or Too Cold

My sister-in-law informed us that it will be spring time when we are about to arrive Chicago. And she told us that, it will be hot. So I packed shorts, sleeveless and pants. Got some jackets too.
A magnificent 3 degrees celcius greeted us. Haha! I am not complaining but I am freezing. My brother and sister back in Manila told me that they would love to have this cold weather than hot one.
This day, we just stayed whole day at home. Me, I slept and slept. I have a flu now. Because of this very cold weather that I am not used to.

@sunrisefan thanks po. Some of my husband's relatives arrived last night and aome will be coming by Friday to celebrate the dedication of the baby boy. :)

Oh no! It is indeed warm here, but I am in Los Angeles - in California. But I would expect a city like Chicago wouldn't still be that warm yet . . . isn't it like 50s there? Well I hope you get better soon and that you have gotten some proper clothes for the weather out there.

I hope you feel better soon. No matter where I go I always pack clothes for any weather that could possibly hit because you just never know. I'm sorry your sick. =(

We are sorry to hear that you have fallen ill, as soon as you arrived in Chicago. I feel that there was some communication gap between your sister in law and you and she probably forgot to warn you that weather suddenly changes also.
Hope you will be better soon and would arrange for some warmer clothes, so as to enjoy your trip.

Definitely not shorts weather this time of year. I wish you had been better prepared for the weather. Sorry to hear that you are sick. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh I envy you for finally reaching the US. I hope to, someday too.
You will gain weight there , because it's so appetizing to eat when it's cold. But I know you aren't at that stage where you will gain weight easily.
