Why do you save your money?

April 6, 2017 10:26pm CST
Many of us save money without even knowing the real reason... We just want to have a bank reserve for some unexpected situation. There's nothing wrong with that, after all, it's always good to have a reservation for those situations... But, it's only for that you save your money? What can you tell me about that?

For me, it usually is to help with bills, or groceries and sometimes to help towards future purchases I might need to save up for.

Its natural to save some money, why would anyone spend all their money and just.... be and do nothing but sit?

Different people save money for different reasons.. some save to fight against any future financial loss or uncertainty while some for their family, some to enjoy their life in future for going on a trip or so and many more. I save money to enjoy my life in future..to have a trip of different places across the globe with my family and friends and to support my family :)

When I was alone, I don't care. But now I've a beautiful future with someone. And I do save regularly to live a happy life with her.

I have specific reasons for saving. I tend to save better if I have a goal to save towards but also there have been situations when I've had to borrow money for something unexpected so I like to keep a reserve. That reserve often gets spent on the car! At the moment, I'm saving so we have some spending money for our holiday and so we can give something to our daughter as a wedding present. After that, I'll be saving for my own wedding. Then my eldest son will be going to university so I'll probably need lots of reserves to help him out there!

In fact saving money is a tradional habit for Chinese. If we don't have some savings, we will feel very insecurity. Of course the main reason for us to save money is to cope with the future emergency. If possible, you also need the money to start your own business and be your own boss

At least by saving money, you know you have money. By spending, you only keep losing money . . . savings can "save" you!

I think it's always nice to know that you have some extra cash for when you might need it. I'm also saving up to maybe buy a house some day.
