Has a teacher ever changed your life? How so?

Has a teacher ever changed your life? How so?

One day my teacher called me, when I was in the 12th class and said, "Sunny, do concentrate on your study. I never say to this everyone. So you can think that why I'm saying you this. There is something special in you." I thought that he knows that I love a girl and he thinks that I'm wasting my time for her. So he is saying that. She was my one-sided love. And I could never share my feelings with her. I wasted (but not really ) 4-5 years of my life for her. But one day my teachers' words resonates in my mind, "There is something special in you". I started to find out that special thing inside me. And one day I found that a poet is living inside me. My teacher and my first love really changed my life. I started to write and now I'm an author of two books: "My Childhood Companion" and "And I Chose You" and I'm a sports report writer too. And the collection of my Hindi poetry, you can see on my website: http://thepoetoflove.in Image Source: http://www.sbs.com.au/news/sites/sbs.com.au.news/files/insight_a_teacher_changed_my_life_1280x720.jpg

No, I cannot really say that one teacher changed my life. I learnt a lot from all the teachers I had, but none of them changed my life.

@sunnysingh16388 Many times I have thought why I did what I did and if someone made me decide in a way instead of another. Well, my real guide has been my father.

My students always believe what I said to them. Therefore I tried to be a good role model for them.

That is a beautiful story. So glad to know that your teacher changed your life. I had two teachers that were very special to me. I still think of them often to this very day and I am 45 years young. I often wonder what happened to them because they both moved from the school system I attended.

Only one of them really taught me a lot and a secondary one who was not really our Teacher helped me out with Maths a subject that was difficult for me at the time. The two of them have not changed my life but they have my utmost respect for sure.

@sunnysingh16388 In a way we meet people who leave a lasting impression on us. When we most need them we remember them and they can steady us and hold us strong.

I had learned a lot of things with my past teachers. Now, I am transferring my soft skills to the students online.

My high school English teacher encouraged me with my writing. She took the time to work with me after school when most teachers just wanted to go home. I've never forgotten all that she did for me all those years ago. Teachers like her are worth their weight in gold!
