Thank you to those who have shown interest in my latest book, launched last week. In answer to your questions the book is not currently available as an e-book, but that may change later in the year. I made that decision because it is a local history book, the kind of book that appeals either to locals, or those New Zealanders of a similar age group who experienced swimming back in the first half of the twentieth century. I imagined a limited online market because of that, but maybe I am mistaken. Anyway, I've been asked for a view of the book cover. I did post one in a post on 29 March, not that long ago, but here it is again for those who missed that previous post. The image above is the cover of my book, 'Down at the Baths, The Story of the Palmerston North Municipal Baths 1917-1966'. If you want to know more about it my blog is a good place to go.

@valmnz I think that Katerina should put her link to her new book in her profile blog as well @thea09 - did you get that Katerina?

I would imagine that your decision not to do an e-book is a sensible one. I'm wary of e-books as anyone can do them so there isn't any of the quality conmtrol you get from a publisher.

Yes, and this really is a local subject, the returns on an ebook would be minimal.

It's a possibility once the print sales slow down.

@valmnz That's exactly like the baths in the centre of Belfast I used to go to, now turned into an art gallery and offices alas. Are those changing cubicles along each side?

Yes, 26 changing cubicles on each side. From what I've seen this was a pretty standard design in the early 1900s

I love the cover. I did read your blog when I looked up your book to find out if it was available online.

Thanks. As you say New Zealanders would have greater interest in your book for sure.
