Has anybody ever been to Gettysburg? If you do go, you should visit the wax museum. It has all kinds of civil war displays, including General Grant's meeting with General Mead, the signing of the Emancipation of Proclamation, and the underground rail road. That is what the blacks had built to runway from white supremacy. The last display shows Lincoln sitting in a theater chair where he is about to be assassinated. Lincoln's assassination is a conspiracy to this day and it is a mystery to who really did it.
You can also go to the Hall of Presidents, where you can listen to a recorded speech by each one of them. But since the speeches are so long, it is quite boring compared to the wax museum.

I have been to Gettysburg several times. It is always a neat place to visit. I haven't seen alot of the attractions though. Most of the time we are just driving around the battlefields.

I have been to Gettysburg. It's been a while and my memory is fading. I do remember we had a great time though; me, my husband and our kids. They reenacted one of events from the Civil War. It was exciting!

No, I have not been to Gettysburg, but I'd love to go. I love visiting historical places. I would love to see all that you mentioned, including the Hall of Presidents. I think I might like the wax museum better. Probably the best historical trip I went on was when I went up to Yorktown and also saw Williamsburg and Jamestown.
