Meow from Huckleberry the Cat.
I have decided to start an advice column. As a disclaimer, I am only one year old and have never been anywhere or done anything, have little experience outside the house, but I do think on occasion. That alone makes me more qualified than most humans, don’t you think?
Just today, I gave my human some good advice. She got not one, but three emails from people in a foreign country saying they’d send her millions of dollars as soon as she sent them some personal identification and banking information.
“What do you think?” she asked me.
“Go for it!” I told her. “Do you know how much catnip that will buy?!!!”
So whatever it is you want to know, ask away. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll make one up.
Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger

I am an extreme amount of help. Maybe I don't have the sage advice Guiness the Cat could dish out, but I'm young. I'll grown into it.
Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Dear Huckleberry; Why does one of my furry friends stand in a nice, clean, litter box and dangle his furry butt over the side and poop on the floor? It is quite irritating to the rest of us who actually do the do in the do-box.

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Thank you Huckleberry, I'll leave a note for my human. Or better yet, she has a magazine sitting on the coffee table that has cat supplies in it. I'll just wet my paw and turn it to the right page.

@nanette64 That's a very good idea! But don't let your expectations get too high. Humans can be a little dense. You can look right at them and plainly explain the situation and they will just look at you clueless. They would be cute if it wasn't so exasperating. Have patience and perseverance. Never give up.
Stay strong and keep meowing. Huckleberry the Cat

I did that with my first litter box. It was a kitten-sized box, and I outgrew it. Then my human got me a big box with walls too high to dangle my furry backside over. I'm an enthusiastic scratcher, so I still get litter on the floor, but the poop stays in the box.
Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat

Dear Huckleberry, after we go on our vacation we are going to be adopting a cat of our own, or letting one pick us out, whichever works out. Any advice? -Lonely in Missouri

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled We may take an older kitteh, I don't necc want a kitten, but that would be ok too. I actually think (we don't want one with Feline Lukemia, as we don't want to chance spreading it), but the ones that don't have that, are kept together in a kitty room. I figured we'd just spend some time there and see who picked us out from those there. I have my eye on a few on the website, BUT, they may be gone before we go. We are waiting until after we get back from a 2 week vacation

That is a most admirable action for a human! I would applaud you, but paws don't clap well. Meow! Meow! Lots of kitties need humans to take care of. You would be in very good paws to be adopted by a ginger tabby, but from what I understand, there are a lot of black kitties who are especially interested in being adoptive kitty parents to humans. Kittens are cute and a ton of fun, but don't forget that there are older kitties out there who have the experience to take care of humans very well, and who have a lot of purrs to give. Whatever you decide, just make sure to do everything the kitty tells you to, be very good humans, give the kitty whatever it wants, and everything will go just fine.
Meow for you!
Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat

@Jessicalynnt That's meowy wonderful of you to be willing to be adopted by an older kitty. Too many humans only want to think about little kittens when older kitties have so much to offer.

I'll ask some advice. What should I tell my kitty when she says she's starving but I can see food in her bowl?

Tell her you'll fill it up right now. Humans are prone to seeing things that aren't really there, like cat food in the bowl. If the cat says the bowl is empty, the bowl is empty. The cat is always right.
Thank you for your question, and come back again anytime you are perplexed.
Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat, Know-It-All

Dearest Advisor Huckie - It's Auntie Mildred the Cat. I'm with you. I'll support you. If you need any advice on giving advice, let me know. I'm here to help. P.S. My mom says you're "still wet behind the ears," whatever that means, and you should brush up on your financial advising skills. Always the Debbie Downer she is.

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Huckie - I'm think I''m sure that's exactly what my mom was referring to about your wet ears, not that you don't know anything because you're so young. Don't worry about it. Luv, Auntie Mildred

Dear Auntie Mildred the Cat,
When your mom said I was still wet behind the ears, obviously she was referring to the video I posted on my Facebook page of me washing behind my ears. I washed them really, really well. I don't know what else she could mean, do you?
You've always provided me with helpful advice. I feel it's the right thing to do to pass that along. Humans need all the advice they can get.
Love, Huckleberry the Cat with Clean Ears

We got an email about a ton of money we can get just by giving some info too! Might be the same 'bank' trying to reach us!
Aren't those emails a mess.
