Most of us go to college to get a higher education and in the process spent a lot of money. Did you go to a private college or to a governement one? Does the experience in studing in these varies or is it the same? I know for sure that there is a lot of difference in the cost structure. Feel free to give your opinions.

I went to college 8 years ago and when I enrolled as freshman I was a bit lucky enough to be free of one semester tuituion fee and because of the academic scholarship. We came from a middle class family and not that rich thats why that discount is a great thing to me and my mother. I joined active organization in school that can gave additional discount in my tuition fees such as the editorial board for the school newsmagazine, and the naval reserve course in which that 2 organizations made me a full scholar and at the same time granted be a refund at the end of the semester. I really enjoy my college years for it was one of the best years in my life aside from the precious education that learn I landed a good job and now planning to return to college to pursue my higher studies in bachelor of laws. Helping my parents to save during my studies on college make the expenses less thats why even I was enrolled in a private college it is not heavy in my parents pocket.

Well i enjoyed my 5 years of college first two years were in St. Andrews College and the next 3 years in St. Xaviers College both were private colleges... I still miss my college days, still remember bunking lectures, sitting in the canteen for hours together, getting thrown out of class, getting caught by the principal and making lame excuses to get save our butts..... Man it was fun .... Damn i reallly miss college.... I definately feel that the college experience is worth each and every penny my parents payed.... Cheers!!!!!!

I went to a regular college and am not sure how much it cost since my parents paid for my education. I am sure it was not as expensive as other colleges or universities in this country. I went to a smaller school in florida. Community colleges are probably a lot less than a university.
