Speaking of ghosts...an interesting ghost story.

Years ago, I bought my first house that had been vacant for six months. The man who owed it was very ill and his second wife was taking care of him. She died. The man's son, who lived on the other side of the country, came and took his father and his father's clothes, leaving pretty much everything else, furniture, dishes, her knick knacks and clothes, to be sold with the house. I put my den in the room that use to be her bedroom. Occasionally, in the small hours of the morning, when I would be up writing, surfing the web or something, I would glance into the hall. She would be standing there in her robe, just looking at me. It was weird. I would say hi and go back to what I was doing.

@minx267 ~She only showed up a few times. I think that she was unhappy that her stepson just left her things there. (I sold or gave away her decor items. We used most of the furniture.) Occasionally, I have wondered if the stepson tried to see if she any family.

@ron484 ~I'm totally serious! I see quite a few ghosts. I think it's because I know they exist and am open and accepting of them, as long as they are mellow, good natured ghosts. I only had a couple negative experiences. By the way, welcome to MyLot @ron484.

How brave of you. Last week, me and the rest of my family heard footsteps in the wee hours of the morning. We just didn't mind because we were thinking it was our housemaid and she was thinking, it was one of us up early morning.

Still, I don't believe in ghost. It is just a product of imagination.

@flpoolbum Well, it could be possible. However, I never experience such thing that is why. Although I heard a lot of it but as far as I want to experience it, no ghost wants to appear in front of me. Thank's for the warm welcome. It is nice to be here discussing with you guys.

@homebasedbobbie ~Actually, I think that it's kind of cool, seeing the ghosts. I have only had one ghost approach me aggresively, but it was a ghost who lived at an old girlfriend's house and she (the girlfriend) calmed the ghost down.
