When my aunt invited me for vacations in summer, she told me how much she would like to be able to watch again an interview my father had on TV around 30 years ago, when he recieved the maximum Prize for science my country gives.
She just expressed a wish, but I told her her that I could make it come true.
I have the interview and I had it changed from the original movie watching machine (name please?) to the DVD one.
Now, after many trial and errors, I made the thingie work. I will not be able to watch TV tonight as I don´t want to upset what I did by chance.
So, tomorrow after lunch, I´ll show my aunt the interview.
I will probably do little mylotting tomorrow as I have to prepare a nice meal for my aunt.

@marguicha
You still had a VHS?
I could not as there was so little space so I had to give it up for the Dvd.
But I did have a lot things recorded too, Films, Ice Skating and things like that.

@marguicha I still have a VHS player, but the old tapes seem to fade with the years.

That´s easy. I´ll repeat the mussel and prawns risotto I made last week. My aunt reminded me she did not eat meat during this weekend.

@marguicha I've been told risottos are hard to make. I've never tried one.

That is very sweet of you to do! And how proud you must be of your father, too. I hope you have a wonderful lunch and both enjoy watching the interview.

I know she will be. She never expected to see this interview again.
