My dad's mother from up north had culture shock down south at food buffets.

I don't recall any culture shock, not even when I lived on Guam for over a year.

With my background, we (young children) are not allowed to look at the person (an adult) when being talked to, especially when we are being told off. Here, in the western culture, we are told that it's rude of you not looking at the person who's talking to you, and not only that, it means that you are hiding the truth.... Very confused for the children when we explain to them what they have to do...
