Mildred the Cat - Happy Easter to those who celebrate

Hi everybody. It’s Mildred the Cat. I hope you are all doing fine. Just wanted to wish all my friends and fans out there who celebrate a Happy Easter.
My mom sends her greetings as well but is too busy, busy, busy getting things ready for tomorrow to write anything. She’s baking cakes, making vegetables (yuck) and all kinds of stuff to take tomorrow. She and my grown up human sister, who doesn’t even live here anymore, are going to celebrate with relatives, having a big huge dinner, and it looks like I will be left here to fend for myself.
I wasn’t invited. That’s fine with me. I don’t like to travel or even leave the house for that matter. My mom bought me a rotisserie chicken yesterday so at least I’ll have something decent for dinner. Otherwise, I’ll just rest and nap and rest and nap until my mom gets home. I wonder if she’ll bring me any treats from the dinner.

Enjoy your Easter Mildred the Cat. That was nice of your mom to buy your a rotisserie chicken for dinner. I am sure she will bring a treat for you when she comes home. Happy napping.

I hope you're right about the treats. My mom is good about providing me with treats just about every day.

What a nice looking cat. Sorry you won't be celebrating with family & will be left all alone. Our family is not celebrating tomorrow so you are not the only one. It will be just a normal day here for me and I'm ok with that.

Shrimp. I've never had shrimp. I've definitely got to check that out. I don't think my mom ever buys shrimp but from the sounds of it, I think she should.

Oh, My Dear Auntie Mildred the Cat,
I feel your pain even if I don't have any rotisserie chicken. My mama went off yesterday on what she called a business trip. She claims half of it was travel blogging, but I don't think she traveled far, and she claims she won't have time to blog until next week. I have seen a few pictures. All I can verify so far is that she ate catfish and didn't bring me any.
My question is this: What in the world is a catfish?

Hi, Dearest Huckie Buckie. I saw that your mom left you yesterday for that trip. I also saw those photos she took. They were rather unexciting, to say the least. I don't know what catfish is but just the word "cat" in your mama's dinner makes me nervous. I hope you have a better day tomorrow than I will. Luv, Auntie Mildred

@LindaCPearson Dear Auntie Mildred the Cat,
Mama says she only posted the unsuccessful photos, but I know she deleted one or two that she says she took a few pictures she didn't mean to take. The really good picture of the sidewalk apparently was one of them. She went to a history museum, so maybe it was historical concrete. I don't know.
I'm not sure what a restaurant review is, but this catfish thing is a little disconcerting. And what do they have to do with history?
