So, i do transcription work. I have to do it when my daughter is asleep, so early in the morning or very late at night! It's so hard to hear and work with her climbing all over me and trying to grab my attention. I love working with them though! i get paid every Monday and the pay isn't that bad. It's just hard sometimes when the quality of the audio sucks and tonight they're all horrible!

I'm the liaison to one of our advisory boards at my work, and part of my duties is recording the meetings so I can go back and transcribe them into meeting minutes. It never fails that I always get horrible recordings, bad reverb or background noise, or echoes, and it makes it hard--if not difficult--to get an accurate account of what was said in the meeting. Fortunately, the advisory board also has a secretary, and she takes notes during the meetings, and she and I will work together to piece together the full details of the meetings so I can accurately record the minutes. So I know exactly what you're going through!

I know a few people that have done that. it sounds interesting.
I have to do it once on a great while in my job. I work for an answering service that offers it and we only have a few accounts that use it. It's always a pain to get names when they say them fast and don't spell them. that is one of my biggest pet peeves

Is it scribie? I hope the audio will be alright tomorrow. I don't know how to do transcription, because my english is not excellent, maybe I should improve my language and in future to do that.

I do it as well. Yesterday, every file had bad sound quality. It drove me nuts.
