Popping my MyLot cherry....

Thank you so much. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to think of a username. Lol. So far, that's been the most difficult part. Everyone here seems really sweet. I'm tender hearted so that is always a bonus for me.

@Skittie Just for your information in case you have not figured it out yourself yet, you can change the name you use here (the bold 'Skittie' next to your avatar) from your 'Edit Profile' settings. The username, however, cannot be edited (the 'Skittie' preceded by @). As you read around the site, you'll probably see some members change their names around occasionally.

@Skittie I am sure you are going to make friends here. I used my real name and the nickname is the one I already used in other writing sites.

Thanks so much. I was actually reading that right now. Lol. Great minds, Huh? I guess I can't wrap my mind around the concept. I have a habit of making things more difficult than they tend to be.... Saying that... Is earning on this site, as easy as it Appears? I'm not planning on making my mortgage payment with it but just a little extra tucked away never hurt anyone (that I've heard of.??)

@Skittie Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

We earn from interactions received from other members to our posts - 'posts' here can be any discussions, responses, or comments that we post or submit to the site. @Skittie it's great right now. I love Spring... summers can be good a little too humid sometimes.. I like spring and fall myself. What state are you in?

@minx267 I am in Kentucky. Spring and fall here are beautiful as well. Summer is a consisten sauna and winter is a never ending ice box. In the spring I love to fish and work in my flower bed or garden. The fall is a great time for bonfires and friends. I don't know why but I look for reasons to where a hoodie. Lol. What are some things that you do to stay busy?

@Skittie I download the image to my laptop or phone first, or from another tab in my browser while I am working on the post. You can always edit your post at any time and add the picture later if you want...

Ok you have to tell me how you attached that picture. I want to do that. Lol.

@pgntwo Thank you so much. One more question and I will quit picking your brain.... Is it helpful to download images onto my iPad first then upload them or can I search for the image once I have written the discussion topic. I just wrote about my first experience cooking hoxkey pucks and would have loved to have had a picture for the post.

@Skittie I don't think I've ever made a mistake here that I regretted or caused me to get into trouble. I think the rules are quite straightforward. It's the same like participating in any other online forums.

Any specific rules that you learned the hard way or suggestions to help me along
