If I were a rich man....

What would you do if you were a rich man (or woman)?
A few days ago, I listened to Mozarts' Don Giovanni online and started a short research about the artists. On my research, I came across to the famous and classical song "If I were a rich man" (sung by the artist Bryn Terfel is a very expressive version).
Actually, there are so many persons looking for a job or extra income that I wonder what would you do if you were rich? Any special dream?
Beside of that, I would like to add the link to the video, but I don't remember how to include it. Maybe, someone who knows, can help to refresh my mind.....Thank you!

If I were suddenly rich, my first act would be to book a flight to Australia and explore that country to my heart's content.

@khaledsifou That's right, we say it also in German and in Spanish, too. You may loose all your money, your job, your house, your car...but nobody may take away your knowledge. Having knowldegde, you always can start again and earn all what you need. Knowledge is power, but also independence.

Okay,
So thinking I just won a lottery and now I can buy anything and everything I want. Will go gaga over, jumping around, singing out loud unable to control my feelings and excitement to just go out and do everything I ever wanted but resisted.
But the actual scenario will completely be different. Alot of money in pockets and obviously I will be done with the shopping, buying a car, house or bungalow whatsoever, roaming around but then whats left Nothing.
Then the immense pleasure to me may come I will just give the money to charity as money is not only the sole purpose of life.

Hey Margarita, I always wondered what I'd do if if I was rich. But to be honest I would first ensure I pay my tithes(Yea I'm a christian) I would help my family put aside some for charity and open up some business to earn more revenue and I would invest the rest. I would not necessarily be happy for the money itself but the that the money would afford me. I wouldn't have to work for someone so I would be free to spend my time how I feel. I realize that the truly independent people are those who control their time. That's what I really want. I want to be able to get up and say I want to go to fasting today at church for the whole day, or I want to go to the poor relief center and give some time there. I want to be able to be active in my children's lives. I want to go to all their sports day and events to support them. I want to b able to help them with home work. I wanna have real family dinners and vacations. I really want time and being financially independent can afford me that. Working for other people restricts my dreams. woooooo...boy did i gibber a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

"life can not be measured by capital you have " is said by every looser you are going to encounter in your life , we all need money to sustain our self and that is why we cherish people who achieve success . But the point is shall we focus on getting rich any how or to follow our dreams and work hard to fulfill it . Then comes the issue what will I do if I get rich answer to it is very simple , I will do what ever I am doing right now the only difference will be in scale and magnitude of it . I will be journalist with big reputation, party in big places , hanging out with same guys in better place that is it . That what life is all about making it bigger and better , thanks for reading
