Why do dead people receive more flowers

I observed one thing that dead people receive more flowers than the living ones. so my question is: why do dead people receive more flowers than the living ones?.

I think because it helps t keep their memory alive.

@sarfyThose left behind don't want to forget- that is why they keep putting fresh flowers on the graves of their departed loved ones.
