Do you read long articles?

I just find that I am not patient, when I am reading long articles, I often jump over a line or two in rapid reading, I usually only read the first 1 or 2 sentences. So probably I can not understand what the contents exactly. Will you read long articles very carefully?

If the subject is interesting, I will read. if the subject is educational, I will probably read through at least twice to make sure that I understand. If you check out Mr Money Mustache blog, you will see that his blog posts are very lengthy. I love to read the real stories of how people simplify their lives, and save enough to retire early. There is a contribution from a couple who make minimum wage, and still manage to own a house, rent rooms out, and save a substantial part of their salary.

Not always - but generally I won't respond to ones as short as this.

I prefer to read medium length discussions on this site.

Depends on my frame of mind, on the topic or subject, and on the writing style. It helps if I can quickly scan to get the gist of the article too, so spacing and formatting are helpful.

Most of the people do this. This is not a health issue. Ah..ah..ah.. If you think it is waste of time to read those lines just skip them. Nothing is going to affect your comprehension.

Long articles are not reader friendly. The modern trend is for shorter paragraphs consisting of 2 or 3 sentences.

It depends on the content. It has to be interesting and engaging, of course. That's the key. Most people on myLot are not readers, per se, so you have to keep things rather as short and sweet as possible.
