Are you always honest in your comments at myLot?

When you leave a comment on a post are you honest or do you just say what you think the writer wants to hear?
Example: I think Ruby is adorable. If I say that in a post I am sure many would respond in kind. However, there are others who couldn't care less about a dog - do those people agree with my statement or be honest?
In other words, do you give your true feelings or do you say what is expected? Sometimes it is better to avoid conflict by saying what is expected, just as it is in real life. But this isn't real life.....or is it?
One thing most people know about me is that I tell it like it is. How honest are you? (Now be honest!)

@AbbyGreenhill LOL, sometimes I also need to calm down. There are times that I am tempted to write what I think.

I'm either honest or I don't say anything.
There are some on here that post discussions that drive me mad...I don't respond to them anymore

I agree with that..I can't let some words in cyberspace get my goat up! I rather ignore and move on.

I have always given honest comments when the comment has been a serious one. As you may be aware I also make silly or jovial comments at times, in which case I simply say whatever I find appropriate as opposed to what I really believe.

I am honest with my responses. If I don't feel that I can be then I just scroll on by and say nothing.

I do give my true feelings. I feel that fibbing or not being totally truthful is a waste of time and a lot of work. I tell like it is. Altho sometimes I do change my mind on some things from time to time.

@CRK109 I can be rude when the other person is rude first - and that happens here unfortunately.

@AbbyGreenhill Well, I can't be rude to people. It's just not my way. And unless I walk in their shoes, I don't really know how their life is. So I move on and return later with a different discussion where I might have something better to say.

If my comment would be deemed hurtful then I usually don't say it. I am brutally honest but sometimes honesty is not the best policy. So instead of lying I probably won't say anything.

If I cannot say something nice, I will probably say nothing at all, but I also want to be honest, soooo... in regards to Ruby, I would say: "I have never been a dog person, but I can tell she means a lot to you."

If it is a topic, I am not really interested in, like a pet snake, I won't even comment on it..
Yes, I am pretty honest in my answers, I won't be rude, and I do believe it is fine to not always agree.
Before I post any discussion, I realize that once I put it out there, I am willing to be open to the replies.

I am honest, but may give a Wisjh washy non committal response when I really want to ask them if they are really that stupid...
There are many discussions I just move on past. Anything I say will get me into trouble.

I am honest. But there are things I don't need to comment on.
I don't go out of my way to be around dogs or to read about them but it is still delightful to read how much fun Ruby brings to your life. I had dogs a couple of times and I doted on them too. So it is fun to read. Many topics are like that.

I always give comments based on experiences and views from different angles. With the input it is hoped that the topic will be open and interesting. Indeed, sometimes different angles are not favored, so try this forum to get a solution with the adult mind, the difference will be sharp when seen a difference, but when viewed from the point of intrinsic to achieve the best In the way out, it will get a wise decision. Allow me to brainstorm suggestions.
