The Vacation Has Started!

There is just nothing like a long awaited vacation. I said we were on vacation as soon as we drove away this morning. Hubby said we were not on vacation until we arrived and unloaded the car. So that is done. We have unloaded the car, shopped, walked, wined, Goldschlagered, hot tubbed and now it is off to bed. Here is a picture of the view. Stunning view, where is it? I know Canada but is it BC or Manitoba or whatever? I think BC is gorgeous from what I saw when I was there.

Do you like the Swiss cinnamon schnapps? It's pretty strong and I like the real gold flakes inside the bottle.

This bottle says it is from Italy. Seems I only have it when we ski. I always wonder if I should save the gold flakes

Our grandson used our condo last month and when we arrived we found he left a big bottle of Goldschlager.

I don't know if I am rested as skiing is so hard on my body. But there is tons of snow and I am having a great time.

What a beautiful view! I wish I could be up in the mountains somewhere right now! I love living in Florida and all, but the flatness of our state gets quite mundane after a while. I envy those who live in or near the mountains! Anyway, I hope you have a great time on vacation!

Where we live, on the Alberta prairies is very flat. But 5 hours away is this gorgeous place.

I have seen people climbing frozen waterfalls. There is lots of climbing around here. I am not into that.
