I recently discovered this exercise video gem from 1982 (the year I was born, btw). I bring you Jazzercise! Performed and taught by it's founder Judi Sheppard Misset. Enjoy this grooving tune from the Bar-Kays.
I really hope they start re-releasing the Jazzercise videos - as cheesy as it may be I love Judi's voice over and I think I would exercise with it, just to learn what she would say next.

I graduated in 1982!
Did you know The Bar-Kays were Isaac Hayes' backing band on the Shaft soundtrack?

@chrissbergstrom -Yes! The same Isaac Hayes. Hilarious as Chef, phenomenal composer and musician. He was also funny in the movie I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.

reminds me of Jazz Hands Guy
John Jacobson teaches his original choreography for the song Planet Rock. Planet Rock is an original composition of John Jacobson and all credit goes to him....

@FayeHazel I need to bookmark that one. It looks like it will have me out of breath fast, but if I keep up with it, I should also lose a lot of weight with it.

Lol. That was my dad's comment when I would grumble about yard work.

Jazzercise was so popular back in the day it is so comical watching them now with the big old bouffant hair usually and the disco beats there dancing to....

@FayeHazel I think so everything is dated eventually

It's funny how things get dated like that. Like those funky 1 piece swimsuits they're wearing for workout clothes.... I wonder if our current trends will seem as cheesy in future, lol.

wow! this is quite interesting, but could it burn body fat? If yes, where on the body would it primarily do that?

Ah yes, sometimes I prefer to work out at home.... but the gym motivates me more if I make myself go. What do you prefer?
