Good Morning Fog

April 26, 2017 5:53am CST
Just woke up, threw on some old clothes, put the coffee on, hubs left to go to the YMCA. and I looked out the window...
We are socked in with fog, grabbed my camera and got some cool photos and came to the computer and realized the photos would be too big for myLot and if I made them smaller it took away the height of the photo...
So I grabbed my iPad and went back out. The photo above is what my backyard looks like right now and doesn't need to e edited or cropped....yea.
The coffee is in my cup, I am here to say hello and good bye to you for the day.
I am heading for my studio and expect to spend the day there. I have a couple of Books on CD's to keep me comfortable. It will take a couple hours this afternoon to go to the Y (exercise) and also stop and see my best friend who had surgery yesterday. Other than that I'm Painting Today. !
Had a call yesterday, the store is needing more and I intend to deliver on Friday morning. I intend to have a lot of stock for her but only time will tell...
I hope you enjoy your day and take time to smell the roses or view the fog.
Life is Good!

@bluesa I'm old, I make sure I make time to exercise ever day. Its never a waste of time. My friend had a hysterectomy and 4 or 5 other small bits fixed or taken out of that area and has no cut/scar on her belly. it was all done by Laparoscopic hysterectomy. she has three or four small incisions on her belly and was up and walking the day the surgery was done. Medicine today is awesome!

Can't do that, it's my art, I need to do it but the hubs does help me, he cuts the slate, and wires and puts my name on my smaller pieces that sell in the wineries. The big pieces I have to do because even the hanger is part of the art. I love what I do.

@JudyEv funny in thinking of it, there was an artisit in the late 1800's that was extreamly popular his name was Wallace Nutting he was a pastor in a church. He had to retire at 40 because of health. He started taking photos in 1899 and hired over 200 women to color his photos. He sold thousands of his colored photos. I have several and would have more but they are expensive to collect. I found one at a yard sale and my mother had one given as a wedding present. They are gorgeous and became popular because of women coloring for him...

@PainsOnSlate Another lovely example. It was just a joke really but I'm sure you realised this. Some things you just need to do yourself.

Well, hello and good bye.
Nice shot, although fog isn't my favorite type of weather.
I hope that you make great strides in your painting today to keep your stock up at the store.
I'm spending my day organizing for the yard sale on the weekend-ugh

@PainsOnSlate No, we are good. But thank you! We had the yard sale last Saturday, and actually what didn't sell I have posted on kijiji and its really moving. I think that is the easier less evil route to take and I'm going to post some more items this afternoon after some things are picked up and I can take them off of the site.

There is something so heart touching to see fog wafting over the water. Where we camp on The Sacandaga River we see it often. Truly gorgeous in the quiet of early morning. So good to see you here again. I miss you.

I do love the fog as it nestles over a valley. Very pretty sight. Roses are heavenly if they have a good scent. Some don't have much of a scent. However, they are still beautiful to look at.
