I must say, I am not a winter weather person. The nights are closing in a bit here in Victoria, Australia. It is 5.45pm as I post this, and it is almost dark. When I head off to work of a morning at 6.30am, it's dark then too.
And already, we are requiring some form of heating, even though winter isn't here properly.
Day temperatures are averaging about 18°C at present, and will soon cool to averages of between 7-10. In mid-winter we'll get overnight lows of 0° often.
In mid summer, we can get up to 43°C.
(Conversion 0°Celsius = 32° Farenheit)
My ideal temperature is about 34°C. I love hot summer days. What about you?

We're heading off in mid-June too Judy, to a warmer climate. Only for a month though, work calls us back to Aus.

@JadePlatypus yes we are about 700km from the snow area. We have just returned from a holiday there and it was still sunny and hot two weeks ago, Winter just arrived in full force

Are you far from the snow? Where I live, there are a couple of mountains that will get snow in winter, about an hours drive away from here. It's not something I ever aspire to, 'going to the snow', or being a 'snow bunny'. I like warmth.
