Good morning,A cool raw day.Some drizzle
I have to say.I am just about bush LOL
This morning playing tennis.Some of the workers came on the tennis court to wish and sang Happy Birthday to Me.One of my dear friend present me with a bag and she made 54 brownies as you can see in the photo.
She was going to make 87 so she could not.I do not blame her.
they sang on the court as many joined in for this Happy Birthday greeting.
I must say.I am glad that this will be over tomorrow.
Not used to all this attention.LOL.But loved it

I still have a hard time thinking you are 87....
May Day back in Catholic School was a biggie - we put flowers on the statue of Mary and sang...'Bring flowers of the fairest, bring flowers of the rarest....and I don't remember the rest of he words.
Can I have a brownie?

I also attended a catholic school, and if memory serves me correct, the month of May is dedicated to the Virgin Mother. We had a "shrine" that we'd put up at home too, a statue and fresh flowers. But I don't remember any of the songs except for Ave Maria.

@Juliaacv Ave Maria - that one makes me cry....it was my mother's favorite and when we had her 'service' the Priest asked what song we wanted I picked that one for her. May Crowing was something else we always had a procession and flowers...May was a big month!
