Feeling rushed makes me annoyed!

I like to know plans ahead, at least a hour prior so I could decide. For special occasions at least a week or month ahead.
I barely opened my eyes to a text message from my fiancé and he said - get ready, picking you up in 15 minutes to go hiking!
I responded - I'm not even ready yet! I haven't even gotten out of bed, so I told him in 30 minutes. 5 minutes shy of 30 minutes, he's already at my house.
He eventually had to wait another few minutes for me to get ready.
How fast does it take you to get ready? Do you need to know plans ahead also?

No, he's usually not like this only when he's eager or motivated to do something it must be fast action! He woke up wanting fresh air from the beach then he told me let's go! Lol
I have patience if I'm ready first though :)

Yes I like to know my plans in advance as not only getting ready physically but also being mentally prepared is what I prefer.

Wow, I'm not sure I could be ready for hiking in 15 minutes either! Well, if I were in bed, I wouldn't have gotten the text to know if he was coming because I keep my phone in the other room . I'd like to know in advance about these things too, but after having kids I have had to learn be ready on the fly sometimes - even make a quick switch of plans.

@infatuatedbby Yah, you want to be dressed right for hiking, take a shower, eat something, pack some stuff, etc etc . . . 15 minutes would be so tight! Is he an early riser?

My phone is with me in my bed! Technically I was up but not enough to want to roll out of bed and go! I was used to when I worked especially over time in the AM, but the unfair part was HE was all ready and then asked me!

Your fiancé must be so efficient because many men know how long they have to wait for their women to get ready to go out I must say that I don't like giving me such a short time to prepare. You need time to get up and brush the teeth etc. And you also need to have a breakfast. 15 minutes is just so short and it is even not possible to have a light makeup

It depends.. if it were something fun, I'd be happy to rush and get ready quickly. If not.. then no! Hiking certainly doesn't seem like enough to drag me out of bed quickly.

@infatuatedbby I enjoy hiking.. but it's not something I'd jump out of bed for. It's more like something I'd do if I couldn't find anything else but really wanted to get out of the house.

@infatuatedbby I am the type of person who loves to make spur of the moment plans but... if it's something someone else planned I generally like a little notice as I am always busy! It takes me about 2 hours if I'm not rushing. I shower, do make-up and all that because i like to sit & dry before I put my clothes on. The feeling of clothes stuck to my wet body is a horrible feeling! HAHA!

Oh yes, I hate being stuck to clothes ~ that is a horrible feeling. I do not take long to get ready but I like to be well aware of plans though :)

It takes me between 5 minutes to 3 hours to get ready. I guess it just depends on what I'm doing and who I'm going with. I absolutely hate being rushed though. Like give me time if I need the time.

I can be ready for anything within a few minutes but I hate being rushed. If I have an appointment at 10AM I am up by 7 at the latest, enjoy a pot of coffee and breakfast, putt around the house for awhile, get dressed and do anything else I need. Then I plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time at the least so that if I'm delayed in traffic I don't feel rushed.
I do not understand people who take it down to the very last minute. I used to have a roomate years ago, God bless her, drove me nuts. She has to be somewhere at 10AM and at 9:30 I say isn't it time to leave but she says no, it only takes 15 minutes to get there and she leaves at 9:45 exactly! Oh, and that's after not getting up until 9:15 or 9:30. Lots of people are like that but I could not stand to live that way.

I can get ready fairly quick also but I prefer not to! I like to be ready and by all people my fiancé.- he should know better!
You get ready in way advanced. :) But nothing wrong with that!
For me if I know an appointment is at 10. I leave at 935 given the drive is only 10-15 minutes. :)

Of course we need to know things ahead. Everyday we make plans. Plans should not always be in writing. You may have several plans accomplished in a day. Plans are changeable. I mean we can change it the moment we want to do it. Or I just play it by ears. About how much time we need to get ready for an action, I have no exact time. Many times I feel time really flies.I haven't made enough preparation then when I look at the time, it is already the time.
