Do You Prefer Streaming Videos Or Downloading Them To Watch Later?

I love watching videos on YouTube, specially cooking related videos. I am always on a look out for new recipies on YouTube. I use to watch those videos and again while preparing the dish, use to replay them and that consumed a lot of Internet data. So my husband suggested me to download the video instead of streaming them online. That way I am able to keep them as a collection of my recipe videos which could be shared with others later. There are many sites on the net that allow you to download YouTube videos, and watch them with your convince. And it’s a great idea because I have realized that streaming videos online consumes more data then downloading the entire video. What do you guys prefer watching videos online or downloading them? Actually it is if you are not of those who prefer watching it later with convince. I use to stream earlier but could not complete the whole due to work. Then I decided to download what I wanted to watch and watched them at my convince and that to as many times and even share them if asked for.

I do not mind watching short videos online, but those of any reasonable length I prefer to download. This allows me to watch them on my television.

Yes you are right, too much data is spent to watch the video.
