Are You In Good Terms With All Persons?

"As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons", is the second line of the poem "Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann.
Being in good terms simply means being friendly with someone or being able to be friends with someone.
Are you in good terms with all persons in myLot and with all the member of your family, with all your friends, acquiantances, co-workers, and all other people around you?

I try my best, but of course it isn't easy. We live in a world with people who have various beliefs, different cultures , aspirations and complex personalties. People can dislike others for no reason whatsoever. Yes I try , but as the saying goes. - "You don't have to go looking for trouble , it comes looking for you."

Well, I try my best to stay away from trouble with anyone... but no matter how cool I may be, there is always a drop of a surprise to find myself in deep trouble. In our amazing world, the only time you can live happily is when you do not mingle with people at any cost. Some people are out to cause havoc where peace seems abundant, with these in place you do not expect to live well and in good terms with people. But I do try!

It is quite similar to a scripture written in about 56 CE. Romans 12:18 New International Version (NIV) 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
I work hard at doing that. It's a good way to live.

As far as I know yes I am on good terms with everyone in my life as of now, there are people who created problems but those people are not with me now, and j never remember them

Do you know I try to live by that poem? I have known of it since I was a very young girl.
In fact, this is my favorite ever and I am glad that you know it too.
I also like Kahil Gibrans works.
I am on good terms with those who are around me yes.
It is vital for our own peace of mind.

@JediYoda Indeed, I love all the words of Desiderata. I try to live by all. Yes of the great men who write these, they are full of spirit. I am so happy to know that you also found these in your high school days.

@TiarasOceanView I'm happy that you are putting into practice too the line of the poem "Desiderata". I also known that poem since my high school days and the gems that it contains becomes more precious to me as years goes by.
Kahil Gibrans has a very deep spritual insight. You can always feel refresh whenever you bath in his works. It's like the words of the Great Rabbi or The Man From Galilee. Take care.

I am not fortunate so far! I have limited friends in my life. I can't make friendship with everyone!
