That's cool that you know so many different languages. Cantonese is my native language and the official language in my country is Mandarin. I know it well for sure. Then I learned English as the foreign language in school. I also learn a very little bit French and Japanese but of course it is not good enough to have a conversation yet.

@prashu228 There are many dialects in China as well as India. Cantonese is mainly used in Guangdong Province and Hong Kong.

I know the three languages in my area, Bengali, English and Hindi. I also studied Sanskrit, I'm a lower intermediate there. Been taking french lessons with duolingo from a month.
