My Moment of Panic

I have a couple blogs in me to write. I just haven't been around much to write them, as I work feverishly to get Freedom's Cry ready to publish. And that is where my moment of panic was a couple nights ago.
I sent my editors an e-mail stating change of plans. I was going to get Manifest Destiny and Stowaway into second edition. However, since they are both published, and Freedom's Cry isn't, I thought I would get that one taken care of first and have all four books available in time for Art Street in August.
I had mentioned in the e-mail I could have it ready for August. She replied that it would be best if it was ready in July so it could be published in time for Art Street, and the best plan was to have it in June so they could get the cover taken care of.
June is next month. Yes, I panicked. I didn't even think that was a possibility. I had a feeling the person I had lined up to proof it might not be able to do that quick of a turn around for me. I was right. So I contacted my friend from Writer's Guild. Left a message and continued to figure out how it was all going to work out.
She called me back and yes, I was in panic mode with her on the phone. She told me to breathe and yes, she would proof it for me. I told her the deadline I have for it and she told me to breathe. So okay, I'm breathing again. I will have a hard copy for her, I expect by tomorrow or Friday at the latest.
I then sent an e-mail to my editors and told them June will work. My moment of panic subsided and I'm getting Freedom's Cry finished. Which is why I haven't been here as much lately. I've never dealt with such a short deadline before. My life just got more interesting and complicated at the same time.
I did send my editors the back cover copy, which they were grateful to receive. I gave a suggestion for a cover, and I know what the back cover is going to be, yes, there will be a pic on the back too. A screen print so the back cover copy will be easy to read. I just don't know about the front cover picture.
It's now time for my morning nap. I've been up since before 3 this morning and I have a hair appointment at noon. So before I fall asleep here. I will try to make it back yet today, but no promises as I still have eleven chapters to go through before the weekend.
I hope your day has been a good one. Thanks for reading.

@just4him
Okay so I read it again and it says four books for August that sure is a short deadline but the titles seem full of intrigue very much so.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I'm putting the middle two on hold at the moment. But I do plan to have all four available at the Art Street festival in August even if the middle two aren't in second edition yet.

I have one blog and it is languishing. After being here I just cannot do anything else. But looking at how active you are I feel I should too.

I really do wish I could have helped. Glad it is all working out. I am still trying to finish the relationship book.and really struggling as I may have to go back to be with my Mum after the weekend. It is really hard to do much with Mum around.
