Happy Friday! it's almost the weekend

Good morning/afternoon or evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
This week seemed to have flown by and now we're heading into another weekend.
Sunday is Mother's Day, my daughters birthday and my grandson celebrates his birthday the day before. The whole family will gather here at my house and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
Tonight I'm making fried chicken cutlets for my daughter as her birthday dinner and she'll be surprised when she gets home from work. She thinks we're having leftovers. This is her favorite meal and I'm making it tonight as she's going out with her friends tomorrow night and on Sunday we'll be doing a big meal for Mother's Day, etc.
Other than that, I'll just be doing routine household chores and maybe I'll find some time to read this afternoon.

I look at a weekend as just two more days tacked onto the week. It's not different than any other two days. Rain, rain, storms later.....booooo

Seems like you have a happy weekend ahead. This week hasn't gone quickly for me, and today hasn't been good. Hopefully, my weekend, although busy, will be better :) I'm sure your daughter will really appreciate you making her special meal for her birthday.
