Another Day Winding Down

I called my niece today. Poor thing is completely stressed out. She has problems at work bringing dark clouds over her head. She talked things out with me but, at the moment, there don't seem to be any good solutions. And her cat was diagnosed with the same cancer my cat had. Her vet gave her cat a few more months, so he's back home with her and her other two cats, but she was crying like crazy to me today over that. The loss of my cat hit her very hard and made her own situation a little too real for her to handle. So we both cried and tried to comfort one another the best we can. It's so hard. I fit into a pair of pants that have not fit for years, so that was a nice surprise. I had some butternut squash ravioli for dinner along with lots of other veggies. It was a small meal but filled me up since I haven't been very hungry lately. Combination of grief and my stomach beginning to shrink finally with all the healthier eating I've been doing. I'm shutting down soon to go and read before heading for bed. I hope all the Moms here enjoy a wonderful day tomorrow. Claudia
