Why are Some People Happy to See Others Down?

May 14, 2017 8:42pm CST
I have always been puzzled by this. Do you know of individuals who are happy to see others down or to try to contribute to another person's hard times? For example we all know that their will always be people who have perhaps more things than we do, or bigger homes, etc etc. However, why do some people find pleasure in always bragging about themselves and their lives in what would be the most awkward of times? I try not to let things like this get to be but it does become annoying. I think some people try to purposely make me people jealous? Because at times I don't even see how the conversation about somethings come up. Have you ever experienced things like that?

Yup I know real people. I have a suprevisor once in my workplace a 50 year old woman who sees nothing but fault in everything that we are doing as if she was the only one who knows to do the work. Not contented with that of finding fault every now and then, she love turning people down in front of others. I think she is really insane or may a bit loose in the head.

@MichaelBrown I completely understand what you mean. I'm sorry to hear that you have a supervisor who is like that. It is sad to see that happening even in the workplace. Having a supervisor or co-worker who acts like that can make for a long work day.Supervisors should be the ones setting the example for the employees and trying to encourage workers.

There are some people like this that include my relatives. We just need to stay away from them as much as possible.

@shavkat yeah I find people like that get under my skin.I'm trying to do exactly what you said.Thankfully the person that was trying to bring me down I only have to see them twice every two weeks otherwise i would have to speak up about what they say all the time.

@katherinerose123 I think we need to protect ourselves from them. It is not healthy to be with them. We just need to fight back of necessary.
