An earnest wish or hope... Whether we have faith in God or not, we do affirmations ourself. We do prayers: - to affirm our goals - to surmount our obstacles in the path of progress - whenever we have nothing to do All sincere prayers are granted, but it will take some time to materialize. - The Mother What is sincere prayers referred in the quote? Can we added some lights?

I guess a prayer is a direct communication that God has reserved for humans.
