This morning after commenting on a new response to my "All Natural" discussion posted on the 8th of May, I noticed with some degree of alarm that there were four unanswered responses dated May 9th and 10th. Usually I might miss one or even two responses - but not as many as four. My apologies to @Happsingh ,@Ihopefulman, @manikamika and @fishtiger58 for my late reply. I don't understand how those were missed in my notifications. Does that happen often to anyone else? and is it possible that the notification didn't appear?

This happens to me sometimes and like you I am horrified. I don't know how it happens. Now I sometimes open my last 3 or 4 discussions and go right through the responses/comments to see if I've replied to them all.

That is so nice of you! I, sometimes, miss comments too and I also like to respond to every comment even if it's just a few words.

For me, it's just the opposite. Several of my notifications disappear before I can get to them. But work on them I do.

I should check to see how fast they leave the page after first appearing.

It happened to me too. Someone commented on one of my previous discussions in March and it is only recently that I found it when I was going through my previous post. I felt so bad too

I don't normally reply real time because of my schedule and the notification. But yeah, we understand, or should say those users will surely understand.

Sadly I miss many notifications but sometimes life just doesn't let me spend as much time on the computer as I'd like.

You get all notifications of responses as one notification unless you delete that notification then the count starts all over again as one notification. There is no separate notification for each response. I miss responses or comments too. I go back to my discussions to check once in a while and answer them if any is left.

I will have to make the time and do just that. Check over those discussions I posted within the last ten days. It shouldn't be too difficult - because I usually post one a day.

As they say - better late than never. I just wonder how many I have missed completely over the past few months. could be the reason why I am ignored by some of my followers.

You are so kind and so polite. Unfortunately sometimes the very time and our business make pressure over us and we can't succeed to do all activities we would wish to do.

Every once in a while I will find that I missed a comment too, I think its because often when the post is new several comments are connected in one message to us and somehow we miss at times. Glad you found it and I am always happy when I find one and can return the comments.

It happens to the best of us. I've found I missed comments, especially since I've been away so much and a lot of my notifications dropped off. Catching them when you see them still lets them know they haven't been forgotten.
