I took me forever to find your response. Well, here goes, again. I am trying it now. See the blank space? That's where the U.. is supposed to be. But it's not. Why? Why doesn't it work for me??????? What am I doing wrong? Oh!, Maybe it's because I have a LinuxOS. Could that have anything to do with it. I hope so. If not....I must be just 'thick'. Thanks for trying.

Its always TGIF for me. I mostly go on short-leave or half-day on Friday cos that's the day I can do some shopping or what ever for myself. Cos all other weekdays, I run home to attend to my kids school work and prepare for the next day. But on Friday we relax, eat out, maybe go somewhere to kill a little time. Weekends is very bad for me. I have to do cleaning, washing, etc. so Friday is my relaxing day.

Well, thank you for thinking of me as a member of your family. I am honored. I still haven't tried your recipe, but I will. It's nice to hear that your daughter enjoys her school. You have a wise husband. He knows the value of quality time with his children. I think in your culture, and in others, the children are the focus of life, more than in the western countries. Or maybe western countries that are more affluent, get caught up in their own living. There's not so much survival going on. Anyway, I like the way your family is so caring of each other. I think it makes for stronger relationsships and happier people. More solid grounding. I am happy for you that things worked out so well for your son. First in his class. He deserves congratualions for his efforts. CONGRATULATIONS!! to your son. You and your husband must be sooo proud of him. He seems to be doing so well now. If he keeps up the good work, and I'm sure he will with your encouragement, will he be able to attend university in Sri Lanka? Do they have such places in Sri Lanka? You know, I think maybe children raised in a country like yours, where hardship is a way of life (I think), that children grow up faster and appreciate the sacrifices their parents have made for them. They realize just how hard it is to get 'somewhere' in life. It makes them more determined to study and plan. Nothing is given to them on a 'silver platter'. I'm glad to hear you are doing well, and not to worry, I will get around to cooking your recipe. Right now I think I will search "Sri Lanka" on the web. Take care.

When I was working, it meant hopefully, to be off work. It meant going out to eat and buying groceries. Now Friday is just another day for me with no special connotation.
