What do you do when you don't understand a post? Do you write anything only for the sake of responding or simply move on . Well I always move to the next discussion.

Sometimes I respond even if I don't understand. But, if I don't really really understand, then move to the next discussion

What will you write when you don't understand a post? It never happened with me that I didn't understand a post but it happened many times that I may not be able to add something to the post in that case I don't respond on it

Of course you moved on. It would be total rude if you respond to topics you don't understand. I know I did it once, but I end up embarassing myself.

@amitkokiladitya That's a question I often ask to myself.I have a couple of great friends here. Both are from the USA.They regularly visit and respond to my posts.I feel it's my duty to respond to their posts also, but my problem is that I don't understand their posts. How can I respond? So,I just move on with a guilty consciousness.

Yes. It does make us guilty if we fail to respond to discussions of your loved ones...but still not yo comment is better than a.wrong comment

@amitkokiladitya Once or twice I asked one of them what she was trying to convey through her post, and she very clearly explained it,but how can I ask her to explain her posts again and again?Would not it leave a wrong impression?

@else34 yes .asking again and again might not sound good. Some people write in a different manner that it is really difficult yo relate to

I will many times ask. If it's written where the words are all mixed up and it doesn't look like someone is trying, then I'll move on or try a different discussion by the same person to see if they do have one that can be understood.

I did my best in the past, to give a reasonable reply to the best of my knowledge. BUT I got told off by those writers, and was told to go re-read the wonderful discussions again OR ELSE. I have since learned my lesson, NOT to reply to ambiguous discussions to save myself further problems.
