Would you like to be a chef?

Hey guys. I wanted to share this thought with you. I love cooking. I'm always asking my mom to show me recipes and teach me as much as she can. Recently I've seen some of the cooking shows that are ongoing in every country - such as Hell's Kitchen and so on - thinking I'd like to experience that, too. However, seeing what a tough tasl it is to cook under difficult circumstances.. It's a huge no for me. Think I could hurt myself under such pressure. I love watching them, still, and keep wishing I could become a chef some day.. Picture by Alina Ivanova

High five my friend. I love cooking too.. I love to watch Cooking shows and travel channels. There are so many things I learned.. while watching these shows. I always wanted to participate in MasterChef but I don't think I am ready now..

I used to be a chef! I loved it I actually enjoyed the pressure! Only gave up due to lousy hours and low pay.

I love cooking, I love cooking for my friends, family and guests, but I would not like to become a Chef. It is a very demanding job, one of my cousin is a Chef.

@tessastv It's also physically tiring, you must stand for hours and also lift very heavy pots and pans. I had a friend who also owned a restaurant and she was a Chef. She had to stop for back problems.

Cooking for yourself and friends is indeed a very lovely feeling.. But yes I completely agree with you, a professional way is really demanding.. Challanging!

I have cooked my entire life, but never wanted to be a chef. If anything, I'd love to be a hostess in a top notch restaurant. lol

I love to cook. At one time I did think I would like to be a chef. But decided that if I had to cook all the time I might not like it so much anymore.
