I Always Like YOU in myLot, But YOU Are NOT: WHY?

I find it weird that some mylotters are not liking me.lol I had noticed that some of them cannot even press the "like" button. Frankly speaking, I don’t mind if they don’t. I would rather want them to be more active in expressing their thoughts and ideas. It might sound sarcastic in commenting but at least, they had given their opinions about the topics. There is no right or wrong in giving opinions. Did you ever notice this? Do we need the "like" button? Are we ready to have “dislike” button? Image Credit: pixabay.com

I am AGAINST the dislike button, we have seen how it was used in Bubblews. All those who were jealous of someone disliked the posts, we do not want this here. I always like the posts, even when there is nothing to comment, if I visit I like.

I do agree on that. I had seen some members in Bubbles had done it. It was terrible. I do like the posts that I had also read.

@LadyDuck I agree. They had removed the "dislike" button because of the bad behavior of the members.

@Shavkat I have seen some rude members go dislike all the other members. They finally removed the dislike button in Bubblews.

I always like if I get to a post . . . but it's possible I can forget at times. I think of "likes" as acknowledgement - especially when there is nothing else to say - I say let's keep the like button. Oh, but no "dislike" button . . . it does bring people down - and stupid trolls will play games with that.

I agree. The trolls will love to play with it. I think it is a good gesture to press "like" button to appreciate the effort of the others reading our posts or comments.

You are not the only one. Many of us are treated thus. I had written a post about JJ and there were two after mine. they get over 60 responses but I am around 17. Now tell me - why this difference? The topic is the same but it depends who has posted. The other two are from the US and I am an Indian. Saw??

I also noticed that, too. I hope it is not an aspect of discriminating us. Regardless, I am still positive that we should be treated equally. I had experienced this before when having a mission in another country. I was discriminated because they think I can't offer anything for that particular mission. I had proven that they are wrong.

I also do the same way. I think there are some members once they got my "like." They put off the discussion. I find it weird for them to do this.

I don't always like. I've been rerouted to other links when I like sometimes. I don't think the like feature is needed. I actually disable the notification. And I wouldn't want a dislike button unless it features who disliked it.

@Shavkat I disable the likes only, so if someone likes my post or comments I won't see it. only until I return back to the discussion like right now I'm able to see you liked my comment.

I remember briefly FB had a dislike button but then it vanished. Perhaps people spoke out against it and that is why it was removed. I think there is nothing wrong with having a dislike button, although others may be against it. In a way if you don't like a post just don't hit the Like button. That can send the message to its creator that you don't. And no need for a dislike one. But some people may like a post but not hit the button... then how do you know if they just didn't press the button or if they actually don't like the post?

That's the good thing for mylot's notification. You can able to determine that they didn't hit the "like" button. I think interacting is the most important.

@Shavkat I had a habit of liking when I started in myLot. But, now a days I prefer mostly to respond with comments, it's just an instinct... But, I see that you are one among the best myLotters here, for me personally, because you have actively liked & responded many of my comments etc, Thank you for that!
