Rain, rain just won't go away

It has been raining all weekend. It began on Friday and today is a holiday here and it is still raining. Along with the rain it has been windy and of course we haven't seen the sun in days.
This means all my plans for gardening over this long weekend are on hold. It is also the weekend when city dwellers descend on campgrounds for the start of the camping season. There must be some very soggy campers out there. Of course, the plants that are already on the ground are loving the rain.
How is it in your neck of the woods? How has your spring been so far?

I too loved the rain as a child, it was warmer then than it is now here. Rain meant playing outside, splashing around. Those were good times

I'm sorry to hear that you've been getting quite a bit of rain. It's been pretty nice here. It was sunny until yesterday, when clouds started to roll in. Today, we're getting rain, but it's supposed to stop later today. Hopefully, you get some sun soon.

Ah, camping season. Hope you get to garden soon. We are having warm days here. But, rain will come back,. It is inevitable.

Yesterday it was nice and sunny. Today it is nice and sunny. Tomorrow it's suppose t be nice and sunny with a high of 85º F (29.4º C). Then Mother Nature socks it to us again on Wednesday. A high of 65º F (18.3º C) and rain shower through the rest of the week until Sunday when we are supposed to have more nice and sunny weather.

@Freelanzer I hope you can enjoy the sun. Last night on the news the weatherman gave his long range prediction for the summer. He said all models are showing we will have slightly above normal high temperatures this summer. So that must mean lots of sunshine for us this summer.

It is beautiful here and no sign of rain ..sunny and around 60F.
Sorry you could not get out to garden.
