Goodbye My Long Hair: Why?!?

"Can men wear long hair?" Well, I do. Now, I don't. I decided to have a clean haircut today. I can't bear the heat in Manila. I had such a long hair iaiming the trendy look way back in 1970s. When I was a toddler, I had a portrait photo with long hair. I am satisfied with the outcome and it is about to say goobye long hair today.
"Do you think men should not wear long hair?"

It depends on the person. I prefer my fiancé to have short hair. I made an appointment for him at the salon this Saturday.

I think long hair can look good on a man. I have never dated someone with long hair but I would not be against it.

True that its much better to manage in the summer.
We have had a very hot week here and even short hair would wilt away if it was not protected in some way.

as long as it's clean and neat (not all over the place), and i mean both male and female hair.
i'm not surprised you can't stand the heat here since you're from baguio.
i'm not sure if barber shops charge lower than beauty parlors (salons).

I was walking along the road near my sister 's place. I saw a small salon. Without a second thought, I let the hairdresser cut my hair. You won't believe how much I pay the service. It cost me Php 40. I was surprised that it is cheaper than in Baguio. But it is really hot today.

@hereandthere More or less a hundred. But this is the small scale salon. I think you are right. There are so many salons. The tips would make an extra cash for them.

@Shavkat i think it's because there's so many of them already, side by side like sari-sari stores, so they have to lower their rates to compete for customers. in fact, i saw one that's less than 40, but i wonder if the workers earn enough in tips. how much is a haircut in baguio?

I think it is a personal choice to have long hair or short hair irrespective of your gender. Females can have short hairs and so can men have long hairs. My only concern is grooming it well and maintaining the hygiene of it.
