Save a life

I have been suffering from depression for a couple of years now. My way to deal with it is helping others who suffer from it, too. A year ago I had a self-harming friend and I helped her get over it. After millions of talks, she feels better now. In addition, a new student in our high school got bullied, and throughout the year I was there for him and calmed the haters. I talked with adults and the principal. All of them stood up for that kid and now he has a girlfriend and is satisfied with his life. He doesn't stop thanking me and just seeing his smile can change my mood in seconds. I'm not trying to make you think I'm a hero. I'm showing you how simple it is to help yourself by helping others you relate to. Hope you learned something from this and maybe you would make a change in your life. I'd be glad to hear you share your stories and how you deal with your struggles. I'm here for anyone who needs help.

I had read that being depressed is to start loving oneself again. It is the best way to boost the inner strength. The, it is about time to share with others.

Yes, I always feels good after helping someone, small or big.. Helping a person is one thing, but that person has to try to stand on his/her two feet as well.... Is your depression still there or is it gone?
