A Lovely Day in May

There is nothing like a day in May! May is my favorite month of the year and this one had not been an exception. The weather has been mild and fresh, even cool some days. Every morning there is dew and the evenings require a light sweater.

It has been pretty busy, we have a lot of family events this month and one last one this weekend to celebrate my birthday and three of the grandkids.

My month hasn't been bad. I don't like the weather here in May though. I prefer October because it's chilly and beautiful at that time. =)

May is always a good month for me because it is my birthday. I usually take holiday at this time of year but my boss wanted the two weeks I usually take. So fair is fair. It was really strange working on my birthday I can tell you! May is a nice time of the year. The early part was a bit dull but these last few days it has been a scorcher!

@Jeanniemaries It was more unusual than usual. It's usually pleasant, this year was cold and wet.

I like May as well, it just seems like once we get into June the heat and humidity of summer start to creep in.
We've enjoyed the month spending a bit more time outside as the weather dictates.
Today my husband is working on a project to pretty up the stairs to our basement.

I like also the weather of May and what it feels like, but my favorite month is to be November coz that's my birthmont and I consider this month as my lucky month, you know, like something really good hapens to me in November
